In 1848 Walter Hunt invented a "Volition Repeating Rifle" that used a complex system of mechanics and a lever to make it possible for a marksman to quickly fire a new type of ammunition. The Barra Cowboy Series 1866 multi-pump lever action rifle pays homage to some of those first legendary rifles and the cowboys of today.
